2018 / STEM inspired repeating pattern celebrating female deep sea explorers and ocean science adventures for girl, available for license.
The illustration were inspired by the compelling “Mission Blue” documentary about Sylvia Earle - famous aquanaut, marine biologist, explorer and campaigner - and her “hope spot mission”. There are some alien like deep sea creatures, the deep rover submersible and of course Sylvia Earle in a JIM suit in which she made the deepest solo dive in 1979. Now she campaigns to create a protected ocean and inspires to explore and protect the ocean, reminding us all that our oceans require saving. Or as Fisher Stevens put it: "She's a pioneer in many ways. Not just because she's been fighting for the oceans, but she's a pioneer for females, women scientists, women marine biologists."
